Your Specific Responsibilities:

This position delivers skilled support for Division of Administration's digital communications, to its training development process and in technical roles for strategic projects as they are assigned at the division level. The position reports to the Finance and Accounting Director III in the Strategic Process Management Office and works to assist the division in achieving its primary aim of effective management and accountability of agency financial, physical, and human resources.

Participates in the training development process by:

Supporting and monitoring course management tasks in the Learning Management System (LMS)Demonstrate analysis/needs techniques to assess and determine instructional contentResearch and review existing materials and resources on specified topicsUse instructional design and development process appropriate for the project and audienceOrganize and develop course materials and handouts using current visual styles and techniques.Organize and develop training procedure manuals and guidesCommunicating with subject matter experts (SMEs) about issues requiring actionProviding technical guidance and skill in the development of statewide training in administrative services using multiple formats, including online self-paced interactive (OSPI)Narrating OSPI training modulesRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Effectively demonstrate instructional solutions and strategies, present information using appropriate instructional techniques, formats, and software, deliver materials on time and communicate effectively in visual, oral, and written form.

Reading comprehension, time management, learning strategies, writing, speaking, implementation planning, instructing, coordination, active listening, education and training, computer literacy

Ability to prepare and evaluate a variety of written training materials such as trainer manuals, curricular or reports.

Qualifications:

Minimum-

Knowledge of Adult Learning principles and theory. Knowledge of the principles to effectively design an Online Training (OLT) and Instructor Led Training (ILT). 2 years' experience working within the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Ability to interact effectively with others and maintain working relationships. Experience building and delivering presentations.

Preferred-

Preference will be given to an individual who has knowledge and/or experience utilizing the Articulate Global 360 software. Ability to work independently conducting research and compiling data relating to the development of training content. Ability to understand and apply applicable policies, and procedures relating to the development of training content.
