TechFlow, Inc. is hiring an experienced Configuration Manager to support our Platform Services team. The ideal Configuration Manager will take lead in the setup, configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the organization's CMMS software.
The Configuration Manager will collaborate with maintenance teams, IT, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure the system delivers accurate, timely, and actionable data that supports maintenance management, equipment reliability, and asset performance goals. The Configuration Manager takes business requirements and translates them into workflows, reports, and configuration changes in the system to minimize the impact of changes through effective project and program planning.
Key Responsibilities
System Configuration and Setup
Configure the CMMS system to meet organizational needs, including setting up users, permissions, workflows, asset hierarchies, and preventive maintenance schedules.Define and manage equipment data, asset information, and location structure within the CMMS.Data Management and Integrity
Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of asset, maintenance, and work order data within the system.Establish data standards and oversee data import, validation, and reporting processes.Process Development and Improvement
Develop and document CMMS usage guidelines and best practices for maintenance teams.Continuously review maintenance workflows and processes to ensure optimal configuration and use of the CMMS.Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements.Participate in development and implementation of advanced AI/ML data analytics to support predictive and prescriptive maintenance workflows in the platform.User Training and Support
Provide training and ongoing support to maintenance personnel and other stakeholders on how to effectively use the CMMS.Serve as the primary point of contact for user issues, troubleshooting, and technical support related to CMMS functionality.Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field5+ years of experience automating complex workflows and reports within CMMS/EAM software including understanding of Asset Lifecycle Management and typical Corrective Maintenance and Preventative Maintenance processesStrong understanding of maintenance processes, asset management, and reliability practicesProficiency in CMMS platforms (such as Maximo, SAP PM, Infor EAM, or similar systems)Experience building complex queries using SQL, including use of all SQL operatorsExperience querying and interpreting data from JSON NoSQL formatted document databases as well as highly structured relational schemasProficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearancePreferred Qualifications
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into system configurationsExcellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesAbility to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teamsBenefits
