POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Expected pay : $120,000 to $180,000 per yearPosition OverviewAs Deputy Program Manager (DPM) for the Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) P-3/DHC-8 Program, you will support Aircraft Maintenance & Logistical Services (AM & LS) in overseeing the contract lifecycle. Your role includes coordinating with the CBP Maritime Patrol Aircraft PMO and contractors to prioritize, monitor, and manage the program effectively, ensuring it operates as an integrated solution.This opportunity is for a POTENTIAL CONTRACT award and is contingent upon the contract being awarded. Consideration for a potential contract may require a signed letter of intent. If the contract is awarded, another position posting will be available on the Company Careers portal.Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)Provide an operationally safe, well-maintained, airworthy, effective, and efficient fleet of aircraft following original equipment manufacturer (OEM), Department of Defense (DoD), and federal regulation requirements, as applicable, to ensure assets are available while improving cost effectiveness, efficiency, and responsiveness of the associated logistics and maintenance program.Maintain a level of aircraft availability in a Fully Mission Capable (FMC) configuration to support Air and Marine Operations (AMO) mission requirements.Provide timely and effective aircraft maintenance and logistics support per CBP standards to ensure operational requirements are met with airworthy, fully mission-capable aircraft.Make informed, timely decisions and actions for both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.Achieve program excellence by delivering on-time performance, quality deliverables, and continuous improvement through effective management.Improve the integration of cost and schedule reporting consistent with good, disciplined program management.Maintain a highly skilled staff that meet all personnel training and certification requirements.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Must have a minimum of fifteen years of aircraft and/or program management experience, ten years of which must be in a leadership/management capacity.Bachelor's degree required.Extensive, thorough knowledge of Air Force or Navy instructions and aviation maintenance/systems concepts and procedures.Must possess analytical abilities necessary to handle extremely complex administrative, organizational, and aircraft maintenance matters.Proven ability to apply strong communication, management, and organizational skills to efficiently oversee site operations.Must interact with customer and company employees in a courteous and professional manner.Must read, write, speak, and understand English.Must be able to qualify for a SECRET/CBP BI security clearance.Basic knowledge of computers with ability to input and extract data.

Preferred Qualifications or SkillsGraduate work in Logistics/Business Management or equivalent military or civilian experience (preferred).Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (preferred).FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license (preferred).
