Overview:
As Marketing Manager at Story, you'll translate our brand strategy into powerfulnarratives and lead tactical execution across customer touch points. Reporting tothe Director of Marketing Communications and working closely with theMarketing Coordinator, you'll ensure effective implementation of marketinginitiatives while maintaining strategic alignment with the broader vision set byleadership. Your storytelling will be central to our email campaigns, SMScommunications, major promotions, holiday planning, retail initiatives, fieldevents, and support for wholesale and 3rd party retailers. Your mission is tocreate a cohesive and engaging brand story that resonates with our audience,supports our house brands and drives Story's goals of profitability and operational efficiency.
Your core responsibilities:
Translate high-level marketing communications strategy into actionablecampaign plans and content calendars for Story and our house brandsLead tactical execution of marketing initiativesManage day-to-day marketing operations and campaign implementationwhile ensuring alignment with strategic objectivesDirect and supervise the Marketing Coordinator in the execution of email,SMS, social media, and other channel-specific scheduling activitiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to uncover and articulate uniquestories about our products, processes, and people that differentiate Storyin the marketWhat your days look like:
Provide direction and mentorship to the Marketing Coordinator, ensuringquality and consistency in all marketing executionsTranslate Director-level strategic initiatives into clear action plans for themarketing teamServe as the key liaison between leadership's strategic vision andground-level implementationCollaborate with the creative team to translate stories into visuallycompelling content across various mediumsPartner with wholesale and retail teams to create narrative-drivenmarketing materials that support their objectivesConduct research and interviews within the organization to uncoverunique stories and insightsDevelop and execute content calendars that ensure a consistent flow ofengaging stories across all channelsAnalyze engagement metrics to refine storytelling approaches andoptimize impactYour cross-functional partners:
Performance/E-commerce Team: Ensure that storytelling elements areeffectively integrated into digital marketing initiatives. Collaborate onanalytics insights to continue to drive better customer experience,conversion and retention ratesRetail Team: Develop narrative-driven experiences that enhance in-storecustomer engagement and drive foot trafficProduct and Supply Chain: Collaborate to uncover compelling storiesabout our products and processes. Leverage inventory insights andupcoming innovation to drive promotion, storytelling, and incentiveprogrammingWholesale Team: Craft compelling brand stories that wholesale partnersand 3rd party retailers can leverage to drive salesRequirements
