Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Training Coordinator- 1st Shift at our Arden, NC site!
The hourly rate for this position is $23.00 per hour.
Shift Hours: 8am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday.

What you'll do:PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Training Coordinator is responsible for scheduling and tracking all training for plant employees. The Training Coordinator is also responsible for teaching the use of necessary software to all plant employees. The coordinator will evaluate the effectiveness of new employees and will make recommendations as to their placement. Emphasis will be placed on instilling a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement and fostering that culture beyond the classroom onto the plant floor.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
A. Collaborate with the training team to develop and deliver approved training courses.B. Create, edit photos and/ or videos to be used for training or recognition and appreciation.C. Evaluate the effectiveness of new employees and make recommendations as to each trainee's placement.D. Collaborate with supervisors to ensure a smooth, efficient transition of trainees onto the plant floor.E. Systematically support trainees to ensure their effectiveness.F. Promote a culture of teamwork.G. Foster the Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF) among trainees and through continuing education.H. With the assistance of the training team will collate and analyze data from the annual training needs assessment for plant personnel.I. Will work with the training team to develop and deliver continuing education based upon the assessment results.J. Support efforts to maintain positive employee relations and plant atmosphere through knowledge of plant policies and procedures.K. Support community involvement and employee activities.L. Work in a safe manner and perform other duties as assigned within the training function.M. Research and recommend best practices.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Qualifications:Basic Qualifications:
• Authorized to work in the United States without Company Sponsorship
• High school diploma or G.E.D. from an accredited institution
• Must reside within a 50 mile radius of Arden, NC. Active Duty military are exempt from the geographical requirement
Preferred Qualifications:
• Associates Degree• Experience teaching the use of software in both individual and group setting• Experience / passion for media use (camera, video equipment experience)
Position Criteria:• Employee must have strong people skills, good communication and planning skills, and ability to manage more than one task at a time• Familiarity with and commitment to industrial safety• Strong computer skills a must: Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access), AS400, DMM, MQ1, eSafety, SharePoint, Enovia• Maintain a sensitivity to customer satisfaction
