Our client is a leading global investment bank in Stamford, CT. They are seeking a talented Infrastructure Lead to oversee their US infrastructure teams. This will begin as a 6 month contract in November with the potential opportunity for extensions and/or conversion. This will be a hybrid schedule (3 days per week onsite).You will report directly to the UK CIO and US CEO and will define the firm's overall infrastructure strategy. You will drive mission-critical transformation and modernization initiatives, while working alongside the US Application Lead and global partners.In order to be successful, you should have an expertise with low latency/high frequency infrastructure within the financial services industry. You should also have extensive experience with technologies including Windows servers, Office365, Cisco routers and switches, and more.Key Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive production management services for infrastructure platformsMaintain platform operational stability and performance, including managing system utilities and tools, adhering to ITIL, service management, risk, and control frameworksLead the technical roadmap, prioritizing tasks from Senior business representatives and product owners, while optimizing cycle time, risk, and cost targets for the platformFoster a strong platform risk culture by ensuring risks are identified, discussed, and mitigated, and that risk plans are clearly communicated and reportedManage the IT infrastructure team, including support analysts, network and systems engineers, and vendors, ensuring efficient task prioritization and role assignmentCollaborate with IT and business leaders across the company to execute strategic initiativesEnsure operations comply with US regulatory standards and the Bank's policies and proceduresQualifications:10+ years of experience in IT operationsStrong understanding of computer systems, networks, security, telecommunications, databases, and storage systemsProven experience leading large infrastructure projects, including data center migrationsExperience with low-latency infrastructure, preferably in the financial services industryExperience with Cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud (GCP)Direct management experience, including conducting performance reviews, mentoring, and providing feedbackSolid experience working in an Agile or DevOps environment with continuous delivery and integrationBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related fieldPreferred Technology Experience:Cisco routers and switches, Microsoft Azure, Office365, MS Exchange, VMWare, SSO, DNS, Cisco WiFi, NetApp storage, SAN storage, firewall management, SD-WAN, Windows/Linux/Unix server management
