Human Resources ManagerPosition and Company Summary:

Millennium Information Tek (MIT) is seeking a Human Resources (HR) Manager to lead all human resource-related functions for the company ( Millennium Information Tek provides embedded IT staffing and technology for the courts sector. MIT creates solutions through partnership, data, and technology by leveraging the expertise of talented individuals who truly care. We empower our clients to modernize their processes while staying true to tradition when it matters most. MIT has been in business for 20+ years and is based in Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities:Functions as primary liaison for professional employer organization (PEO) to facilitate employee requests, guarantee accurate HRIS data, and consult with HR administrators and advisors when necessary.Ensures timely and accurate submission of payroll on a weekly basis, reviews timeclock entries, and leave requests; processes holiday and variable pay, or stipends when necessary.Regularly reviews leave calendar, paid time off balances, and administers leaves of absence.Administers benefits, evaluates, and negotiates benefit plans, acts as subject matter expert on the companys benefits package.Maintains personnel files, org charts, and other HR records according to retention requirements.Conducts regular audits of HR records, benefits, programs, and policies.Completes timely employment verifications and related paperwork.Serves as the internal liaison for workers' compensation concerns and claims.Maintains and enforces the employee handbook and company policies; creates new policies when necessary.Leads and executes HR projects, involves internal and external stakeholders as needed.Composes and sends HR-related communications and announcements.Runs the continuous performance management process, administers performance software, and provides coaching to managers on feedback delivery and goal setting.Identifies training needs; implements learning and development strategies.Responsible for compensation planning and strategy, including conducting an annual salary survey, bonus plan creation and management, and advising commission structure to ensure competitive, fair market pay.Compiles and analyzes people and performance-related data and creates reports for senior management.Conducts workforce planning by identifying current talent gaps and forecasting needs, adapting plans as business objectives change.Researches, writes, and edits position descriptions; ensures all descriptions are up-to-date and accurate.Directs talent acquisition; sources, screens, interviews, and evaluates candidates in collaboration with hiring managers.Facilitates hiring process by issuing offer letters, completing background checks, drug screenings, onboarding, and orientation.Manages separations and post-employment tasks including offboarding, conducting exit interviews, and supplying information for unemployment insurance claims.Fosters an inclusive and hospitable work environment; provides reasonable accommodation when necessary.Generates positive employee experiences, drives engagement, and encourages retention through rewards, recognition, events, and employee surveys.Preserves and enhances company culture, inspiring excellence and promoting the organizations values.Develops and nurtures strong relationships with employees; acts as a trusted advisor and resource on HR-related matters.Acts as cross-functional consultant by mentoring and counseling department managers on HR best practices and people management.Handles confidential or sensitive matters carefully, escalating to senior management when appropriate.Manages and resolves complex or delicate employee relations issues and disciplinary matters, conducting thorough and objective investigations when necessary.Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.Remains informed of trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in human resources, talent acquisition, performance management, and employment law.Other job-related duties as assigned.
