Snowflake is growing rapidly and we are hiring an experienced Principal Product Manager to design, develop, execute on how our product teams work with our GTM organizations. The role will be responsible for development of enablement technology, tools and processes that will drive billions of dollars for Snowflake. The individual will own specifications, delivery and continuous improvement of cloud services and tools for our sales organization aiming to drive productivity as well proactively improve health of customer/partner deployments in Snowflake.
We're looking for candidates with strong technical, product management skills, as well as business and strategic acumen with experience working with GTM organizations. At Snowflake we put our customers first and this role will build products for our own teams and end customers/partners that they will love.AS A PRINCIPAL PRODUCT MANAGER AT SNOWFLAKE YOU WILL:
Own product definition and requirements for tools that automate and orchestrate workflows and operations for sales activities, facilitate collection of structured data on process and activity. Produce information and insights for field reps relevant to a given customer at any point in timeBe responsible for coordinating process changes with sales and other functions as needed and maximize alignment with the product organization.Function as the liaison between Snowflake's product teams and sales processes, tooling and operations. This will require a deep understanding of Snowflake's company and product priorities as well as our field processes.Directly work with CEO, CRO and other leaders in the Executive LT as well as work across various product/engineering teams, marketing teams, finance, sales & operations to help drive change that will result in material acceleration of the Snowflake adoption with customers and partnersCreate a strong northstar vision and execute against it to drive proactive customer health outcomes through cloud services, processes, and tools.OUR IDEAL PRINCIPAL PRODUCT MANAGER WILL HAVE:The ability to grasp the breadth of the Snowflake data cloud vision and product and, at the same time, dive down to the detailed level of a specific feature.Prior experience executing a vision from start to finish in the past, with an ability to take a one-word, or one-sentence, product vision and expound on it to drive a roadmap.Strong interest in cloud and data technologies, experience with various cloud partners, and enthusiasm working with open source projects.Proven expertise in understanding the voice of the customer and partnering across engineering, marketing, and sales to deliver compelling products that meet those customers' needs.Demonstrated track record of shipping successful offerings in the cloud.Decisive and detailed oriented personality, and ready and willing to stand by their decisions.Ability to thrive in the dynamic environment that comes with being part of a hyper-growth company. That means flexibility and willingness to jump in and do whatever it takes to be successful.Ability to work with teams in multiple geographies.Comfortable presenting and working at the CxO level within Snowflake and with Snowflake's customers and partners.15+ years of experience in product management.Hands-on experience with cloud based products.Prior experience working with database systems is considered a plus.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar.
