The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a full-time Product Manager for our
Safety and Sensor product
offerings. In this role, you will evaluate Industrial applications, provide product solutions and strive to foster a strong relationship with our Vendor Partners in industrial automation safety and sensor solutions.
Location:
This position will be based out of our
Farmers Branch, Texas,
Facility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical and sales support in safety and sensors• Go on sales calls and schedule appointments with potential new accounts• Help provide technical training at 2 product training meetings (PTM) per year• Establish root cause of possible failures to machines and plan corrective action with the right product of applications in safety and sensors• Achieve mutually agreed upon annual corporate sales goals for all products applicable to the industrial market• Provide training to sales staff relative to applications and products in safety and sensors• Foster a positive team environment by assisting co-workers• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization• Perform other duties as assigned
Education• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or equivalent work experience in safety and sensor
Industrial Automation Industry Experience• 5 years' experience directly with machine safety and sensor product technologies
Skills & Abilities required:
• Self-motivation• Excellent customer relations/sales skills• Industrial application problem solving capabilities• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems related to the Industrial industry• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with engineers and technical designers to determine and deliver appropriate customer solutions• Mechanically inclined mindset• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
