The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance.

Roles and Responsibilities
Integrates the management of material schedules, input loop design, delivery, and supplier performance to support withdrawal.
Facilitate opportunities to optimize inventory, improve on-time delivery, and process improvements through problem solving.
Interface directly with suppliers and GE Aerospace Supply Chain Materials and Sourcing as required to expand model line, shape standards, and problem solve gaps to On Time Delivery.
Requires specialized knowledge within the function. Influences the development of strategy for the area of responsibility, including control of resources and influences policy formulation.
Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle operational tasks or problems of moderate complexity. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics. May guide others to consider a different point of view.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of planning, materials, sourcing or other related supply chain experience) + minimum of 3 years planning, materials, sourcing or other related supply chain experience or GE Leadership Program Graduate in lieu of experience
Desired Characteristics
Master's degree or CPIM certification preferred
Supply planning experience is preferred
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Ability to navigate complex processes and systems
Understanding of LEAN principles
Ability to influence others and lead small teams
Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
