Lee Hecht Harrison Recruitment Solutions (LHH) is partnering with a leading company to fill their open Demand Planner job in Costa Mesa, CA. To qualify, you must have at least 5 years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role.
This is a TEMPORARY job opportunity that is expected to last 3 months. Depending on our clients needs and your performance, this role could get extended and/or even result in a permanent position in the company. During the temporary period, you will be able to sign up for LHHs benefits programs (details below). You will earn between $45.00 and $48.00 per hour in this role.
Responsibilities:-Create and manage annual and seasonal merchandise plans utilizing history, sales trends, and market influences to ensure accurate sales and inventory forecast for assigned area of responsibility-Monitor sales performance-Identify and communicate opportunities and risk-Partner with Merchants to ensure product assortments support sales targets by country-Collaborate to ensure key item sales and inventory forecast are in alignment with departmental sales and inventory objectives-Lead the OTB process for your merchandising team, adjusting forecast, receipt targets and margin as needed to achieve financial goals-Use your Merchandise Planning experience to develop and drive the planning process to achieve financial objectives and strategic initiatives-Leverage DTC system capabilities, standard and Ad Hoc reporting to consistently monitor the many facets of the business and create actionable processes to enhance outcomes-Proactively seek business partnerships to enhance knowledge and align on business strategies
Qualifications:-At least 5 years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role-A degree in a related field preferred but not required-Previous experience in the fashion and/or retail industries preferred-Excellent analytical skills-Previous experience with planning systems such as SAP, Blue Yonder, etc.
Compensation:-Hourly rate between $45.00 and $48.00-Lee Hecht Harrison benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
