Sr. Project Manager
Location: Shreveport, Louisiana
Per Diem: YES
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Hours: 40-50 hours per week
Duration: 3-5 years

Role Description:
Position supports all aspects of projects from conception to completion including the coordination of AFE development, budgets, engineering, construction, and scheduling. Position utilizes the latest PPM protocols in order to achieve proper project progression and management. Position follows/utilizes HSE oversight and MOC guidelines during the development and implementation phases.
Job Responsibilities:
Actively review and assess how design packages are designed to verify safety standards are incorporated into the final designVerify the design and execution of their respective projects introduces only acceptable risk to the plantVerify project PSSR's are accurate and completeWork with the environmental engineering group on all projects in order to verify applicable rules and policies are metActively encourage participation of refinery reliability engineers in the design and quality check processes to insure good reliable designMaintain a high level of personal productivitySet the expectation which contractors will work at a high level of productivityIntervene to correct low productivity problems with contractorsProvide continuous review of project designs and actively encourage project team members to review design packages throughout the whole design process in order to verify the best engineering practices related to quality are maintainedProvide accurate and timely communications with respect to their projects broadly in the organization including, but not limited to, the project team members, management, complex manager, process engineering, safety, reliability, inspection, and maintenance utilizing both formal and informal tools availableWork to develop accurate project estimates at each phase of development and utilize the financial tools within PPM and SAP to monitor and maintain approved budgets during the execution phase of their respective projectsUtilize the Change Order Management tool within PPM and PMETs to obtain authorization for additional spending and schedule for the successful completion of their projectsSchedule Performance which helps to develop and maintain a project schedule for all projectsVerify project milestones are met, communicated, and impacted in a timely manner once baselined
Qualifications & Skills for Success:
Minimum of five years as a project manager/project engineer in a refinery or heavy industrial plant environment#IND1
