Join TeamHealth's talented critical care medicine team as a nocturnist at Tampa General Hospital! We are seeking a nocturnist physician assistant (PA) or nurse practitioner (NP) to join our robust team. A qualified candidate will have master's degree in nursing or be a board certified PA along with a minimum of two years of practice experience.
Clinical Responsibilities:
Work autonomously and multitask within the critical care team in assessing, examining, and providing care to critically ill patients in the ICUManage medical and surgical (including vascular, thoracic, burn, and cardiac) patientsProvides emergent and urgent care to patients in critical conditionPerforms history and physical examination of patientsWrites orders and interprets laboratory data and radiological testsMonitors patient status and response to treatmentsDocuments findings in the ICU medical recordRecommends and initiates appropriate therapeutic interventionsPerforms procedures, such as but not limited to, intubation, bronchoscopy, central line placement, hemodialysis catheter placement, chest tube insertion, thoracentesis and paracentesisCommit to excellence in clinical service and demonstrate problem-solving abilities necessary to best serve our patientsInterested in learning more?
