Senior Technical Product Manager

to join the Civil Construction Field Solutions (CCFS) Cloud Software product management team. This product manager will be responsible for extending our current Cloud portfolio beyond standard products. As a Product Manager, you'll be responsible for integrating your experience, new ideas, technology best practices, and customer requirements into our offerings while increasing profitability, interoperability and customization. You will represent a portfolio of software solutions that allow civil contractors to manage data to and from the field. Through providing powerful shared services you will enable Trimble-CCFS to provide innovative and connected workflows within our own software portfolio as well as via other software vendors through API's.What you will doWork with CCFS Cloud SW leadership to develop and effectively steward the execution of your product extensibility vision with a particular focus on constraint points.

Be able to generate ideas and value on your own or in a group. Establish, then utilize tight working relationships with engineering, architects, and design to execute.

Develop and implement a commercialization, monetization and licensing approach that compliments your extensibility vision.

Form opinions on what it means to be a best in class suite of extensible products. Communicate your opinions to engineers, architects and leaders in order to iterate and refine your approach.

Be concerned with the details. The candidate must be able to change context regularly between conceptual enterprise strategy and in-depth implementation details

Work with customers and channel distributors who see value in extensibility; learn their product requirements and what they want from an interoperable, customizable, and scalable ecosystem.

Build and manage an internal and externally facing developer program.

Identify, scope, and prioritize development work in collaboration with a cross-functional group of contributors to organize time & resources in a way that maximizes value for users and the business.

Lead identification and mitigation of risks and impediments.

Plan and manage communication around launches, updates, and other changes through the product's lifecycle with contributors and stakeholders.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring8-10 years of experience as a technical product manager or equivalent experience leading technical product discovery and technical product delivery

Must have experience with APIs, event-based workflows, or other web technologies, and in particular experience with cloud platform systems is a plus; you must have brought APIs to market, commercialized a suite of APIs and built/supported a developer program.

You must have experience with API development best practices; ie development pipelines, testing practices, API maintenance and support, etc.

Experience in an Agile development environment including the ability to break market and business problems down into value propositions (themes, epics, features, user stories, tasks).

Strong end-user focus with the ability to analyze complex workflows, identify relevant market opportunities and translate them into an actionable plan.

Knowledge, experience and/or interest in the Civil construction industry is a plus.

Leadership experience is a plus-the ability and willingness to lead others or a team.

Excellent written and verbal communication and listening skills; you will be a part of a multinational and multilingual team.

Humility-willingness to ask questions when you don't know and to accept failure as a learning opportunity.
