Construction - MEPWe are seeking an experienced, results-oriented Product Management professional to define and articulate the product strategy and execute on short and long-term roadmaps. We need a real team player and strong communicator who is comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders to gather requirements and translate those into Epics and User Stories. Technical experience with API-first software development and productizing APIs is required.Job Summary

The products that you will be responsible for are the market-leading solutions in serving the needs of North American contractors and are in different product life cycle stages. You will need to balance the demands of a product in growth stage with the needs of a product that is in a life extension stage. Therefore, you will need to be decisive, highly organized, and driven to stay in touch with the industry. You are motivated to understand the challenges that electrical contractors face and are determined to leverage your creative capabilities to solve them. You are experienced in working in an agile software development environment to improve and expand the product by means of frequent releases.You develop and execute on a strategy that encompasses both Trimble products and external facing APIs that enable customers and other software vendors to integrate the capabilities of the product into their workflows. You achieve this in close collaboration with other product managers, customers, sales, support, and work with UI/UX designers in order to ensure a good, consistent customer experience.What You Will Do

Develop, own and maintain the product strategy and short and long-term product roadmap and align the roadmap to the overall business strategy of Trimble.Develop a business plan to productize APIs.Break down high-level roadmap into functional and non-functional requirements, and write clear epics and user stories.Communicate clearly and effectively with a wide range of stakeholders. You will actively participate in Construction Sector product alignment meetings, business reviews, and strategic account meetings.Work with Engineering architects to understand the applications architecture, identify and communicate limitations and potential risks, while fully owning the functional aspects of the product.Monitor product results in detail, ensuring that the organization is aware of any performance shortfalls against business plan objectives and take action.Contribute to data models and governance, domain models, and look for opportunities to surface valuable insights.Ensure features, workflows, and productized APIs are successfully delivered; measurement of success is defined, monitored, and reported.Work closely with Engineering, including in quarterly planning, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and daily standups.Work with key stakeholders and other product managers to articulate strategy, vision, roadmap, and product feature availability.Organize and lead customer feedback sessions for understanding customer needs and validating assumptions.Quickly grasp new concepts while developing trust and credibility with stakeholders.In conjunction with relevant stakeholders, seek to improve efficiency and effectiveness of product/service related processes.Collaborate with support to serve as a "Tier 3" prior to escalation to or prioritization with the development team.Understand customer/user personas and use cases to positively impact customer experience.Skills & Experience Required

Bachelor/Master level of understanding in information science, business, or information technology.Strong analytical skills and responsible for maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.Relevant experience launching APIs as products with well-defined operational processes.Ability to negotiate priorities with different stakeholders by understanding their perspective as well as knowing what's good for the customer.Natural alignment with the people around you (internal and external).Eye for detail while also able to work from a high-level overview.Demonstrated, proven track record managing software products.Well organized, efficient, and capable of prioritizing work.Passion for software and technology.Enjoy working with product managers, software developers, and UI/UX designers.Equal Opportunity Employer
