Key responsibilities for this role include:
Manage and design global privacy and privacy operations training and awareness activities; conducting privacy operations training as necessary;
Manage privacy assessment, DPIA, and ROPA processes;
Provide operational support for security incidents and data subject requests;
Design, manage, and report on privacy metrics and activities;
Monitor privacy processes and report and manage corrective action plan mitigation strategies;
Operationalize contracting activities and requirements; and
Support implementation of new legislative requirements throughout Viatris.
Work with the Global Privacy team to provide support to governance and local privacy activities
Cooperate with other functional areas on privacy operations activities.
The minimum qualifications for this role are:
Juris Doctorate or equivalent is preferred.
IAPP certification (CIPM, CIPT, applicable CIPP) preferred.
Five years of experience managing, designing and conducting training and awareness activities.
Five years of experience providing operational support for department activities, and managing the privacy assessment, DPIA, and ROPA processes.
Previous experience monitoring department processes and report and manage corrective action plan mitigation strategies preferred.
Five years of experience designing, managing, and reporting on department metrics and activities required.
Previous experience operationalizing contracting activities and requirements and supporting the privacy governance and local privacy teams on implementing new legislative requirements.
Previous Pharma or healthcare industry experience preferred.
This role has remote flexibility, with preference to be based from an East Coast location.
Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English is required.
Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. The salary range for this position is $78,000 - $152,000 .
