This role sits within the rapidly growing Products and Platforms practice at EY. Think of Products and Platforms as a start-up with backing of EY’s brand and depth. The opportunity

Join our dynamic team as a Manager in Technology and Product Management, where you will lead transformative technology projects that are integral to our organizational strategy and success. You will be at the helm of steering these projects from inception to fruition, ensuring alignment with our goals, administering project timelines, controlling costs, and delivering quality outcomes to leadership. Your role will involve leading both technical and cross-functional teams to develop and implement cutting-edge technology solutions or infrastructure enhancements.

Your key responsibilities

As a Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of complex, multi-faceted projects, emphasizing quality control and effective risk mitigation. You will innovate and pursue process improvements, applying industry insights to elevate best practices. Your responsibilities will include:

Ensuring projects are directly billable to external clients, contributing to the revenue generation

Providing leadership across all phases of workstream execution

Vigilantly overseeing deliverable completion and overall project progress

Engaging in client sessions daily, leading specific workstreams, and identifying service opportunities

Managing budget and resource allocation effectively

Sets the long-term vision and product-line-level strategy & roadmap; continuously evolve with regular input from EY and EY Nexus leadership

Conduct market research, stay on top of industry trends and meet with internal stakeholders to identify trends and identify business objectives

Work with EY Nexus Product Managers and UX Designers to define and track OKRs for all products within product line, provide input on product backlog, roadmap, prioritize features based on stakeholder input and user research, testing and synthesis

Drives accountability of the Product Managers to deliver on Program Increment goals and commitments and provides input on overall product backlog/roadmap

Facilitate demos and reviews with stakeholders to receive input on products within product line

Reviews new product submissions and helps to shape and size to understand alignment to overall strategy

Act as a subject matter expert during the pursuit lifecycle and provides inputs to EY Nexus Pre-sales and pursuit teams

Solicits inputs from the pre-sales team, engagement delivery teams and clients to understand client feedback / input to improve product

Supports Product Manager go-to-market material creation to accurately articulate the product and market fit

Works with EY’s branding, marketing, and communications team to publish marketing content related to products within product lines

Provide direction to product team within product line and prioritize team health by resolving people issues, including supporting team budget management and staffing

Oversees multiple product management processes, establishes priorities, and coordinates with teams to create schedules throughout the product life cycle

Participates in the development and updating of annual budget plans to ensure appropriate allocation of resources; regularly tracks actuals against planned budget

Manages, mentors, and motivates junior product teammates

Provides executive-level reporting on product line progress and performance

Provides inputs to EY Nexus Revenue Officer to shape commercials for all products within product line

Understanding of the product development lifecycle

Experience managing global teams

To qualify for the role, you must have

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field required, MBA preferred

At least 4 to 6 years of relevant professional experience in product management

Strong relationship management abilities to work effectively with clients, vendors, account teams and product teams

A high energy level, sense of urgency, decisiveness, and an ability to work well under pressure

Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change

Strong influencing skills and a teaming mentality

Ideally, you’ll also have

Experience in leading cross-functional teams

A track record of driving technology transformation projects

Professional certifications relevant to the service line

What we offer

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $124,700 to $228,800. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $149,700 to $260,000. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
