Job Summary
Material Program Manager (MPM) Lead needed for the Raytheon AIM-9X program in Tucson, Arizona. This individual contributor role is a great opportunity for someone with a university/college degree and five (5) years of relevant prior experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of three (3) years of experience. This role requires knowledge of the material requirements planning (MRP) process with practical knowledge of project and material management.
What You Will Learn
In this role you will learn and further develop your knowledge of manufacturing, material requirements planning and business acumen within a matrixed organization.
You will develop and execute a material program strategy/plan for a program or integrated product team.
What You Will Do:
Engage with PMO leadership on material strategy execution
Coordinate Risk Mitigation and Opportunity capture plans with Procurement
Review and burn down SCM metrics
Influence and communicate effectively across multiple areas outside of one’s own job function as well as with parties external to the organization and company
Lead projects
Budgeting and financial management
Issue and conflict resolution
Develop and drive material EACs
Monthly material forecasting
Commitment to obtain MPM certification after experience in the role
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Active Secret Clearance
Progressive professional experience with a combination of experience in Project, Program, Product, Finance or Supplier Management is required
A working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel and Power point)
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation), leadership abilities, and the ability to work in an IPT environment.
Must be a self-starter, capable of achieving organizational and program objectives, and able to interface with all levels of internal management, supplier management
Must be able to succeed in the high stress, fast paced environment of development
Excellent time management skills and the ability to assign the appropriate priorities to the many tasks that they will be required to perform

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
