Oversee day-to-day activities of data analytics development staffCollaborate with IT as required for project scoping and completionExpedite and triage data inquiries and challengesHelp make the right data available to the right people at the right time, in a format they understandReport and interpret the results back to the relevant members of the businessIdentifying patterns and trends in data setsWorking alongside teams within the business or the management team to establish solutions to business problemsDefining new data collection and analysis processesWork collaboratively with technology staff to introduce new processes, infrastructure, and tools to advance business goalsWrite, validate, and deploy reports in a reasonable timely mannerDevelop data integrations between different systems using available methods (via Web API, ETL tools, etc.)Assist in providing visual analytics and dashboards against business needCreate custom data sets in existing and new technologies as requiredBe a liaison with data users to determine functional needs, related needs, requirements and specificationsCollecting and interpreting data from existing data processes and recommend modifications to improve efficiencies and capabilitiesProvide leadership and direction on open data projectsAid, guide, and train via knowledge sharing to other members of the teamResponsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to this position, including the Univest Code of ConductPerform all other duties as assignedQualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related discipline8+ years of management and team leadership experienceAbility to balance being a manager and an individual contributorStrong experience in supporting building teams in terms of expertise, capacity, and the ability to deliver quality data projects and solutions on-time and on-budget10+ years of experience in SQL, and Python or R5+ years of experience working with cloud infrastructure concurrentlyProficiency in systems integrations and API programmingExpert in visual analytics and business intelligence solutionsUnderstanding one or more software development life cycles (SDLC), Agile methodology, ScrumMust possess the desire and ability to learn5+ years' experience in data models and reporting packagesAbility to analyze large datasets via modern analytics packagesAbility to effectively communicate with different levels of the business and translate complex technical issues into plain English and vice-versa for the technology teamsMust be able to collect requirements and understand data needs for the businessEffective participant in strategic decision-making process for the data team roadmapAn analytical mind and inclination for problem-solvingClick here for Benefit Information#Univest#LI-HybridAn Equal Opportunity Employer.
