About the Position:
The OYCR Program Coordinator will build collaborations with OYCR (Office of Youth and Community Restoration), DOR and assigned counties. Will support the Manager with day-to-day program oversight, including coordinating logistics for virtual monthly check-ins with each region, virtual quarterly meetings with all partners, and in-person meetings as needed. The coordinator will also assist with gathering data from partner agencies for reporting.

What You Will Do:
Work with OYCR on detailed program design including data reporting.
· Work with counties to identify and engage local providers.
· Collaborate with DOR to define student eligibility parameters.
· Ensure successful and safe transition of the students to the various communities in the initiative.
· Conduct outreach and recruitment activities, including public speaking opportunities to recruit participants for the program.
· Along with the supervisor, use tracking tools to assess the effectiveness of the outreach and recruitment strategies to continually improve the effectiveness of these efforts.
· Be an enthusiastic and ongoing source of support and motivation to participants through one-to-one visits, electronic communication (email, text), and telephonic communication.
· In coordination with the Case Managers, assist clients to navigate through the program and access needed services, advocating for them as necessary and appropriate.
· Meet with students virtually or in-person in various public locations as appropriate to assist them in obtaining needed services and support.
· Ensure financial and programmatic reports are submitted each quarter.
· Engage stakeholders to review and streamline systems.
· Conduct assessments of participant strengths and needs to assist participants in setting goals related to employment and self-sufficiency.
-Develops Individual Employment Plans, training, On-the-Job-Training (OJT) employment opportunities, and/ or apprenticeships.
· Provide support and coaching to participants as they develop job readiness skills: resumes, job search, and interviewing skills. Motivates and inspires participants to set and achieve employment goals.
· Build strong external partnerships with community organizations and public agencies.
· Maintains accurate documentation of service objectives and outcomes as well as other services in accordance with Federal, State, County, and Amity guidelines.
· Meet or exceed recruitment goals.
· Attending case conferences, meetings, and training as requested by the supervisor.
· Attend workshops, meetings, and trainings as requested by supervisor.
· May serve as Community Advocate role in addition to job as requested by community leadership.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring:
Required:
• A High School diploma and a minimum of 3 years in office administration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, administrative writing skills, professionalism, analyzing Information, written and verbal communication.
• Must possess ability to understand and follow procedures.
• Self-motivated team player who is highly organized.
• Strong communication skills with an understanding of previously incarcerated individuals housing needs preferred.
• Bilingual, fluent Spanish/English oral and written skills are highly desirable.
Preferred:
A minimum of a High School diploma. College degree preferred.
· 1-2 years’ experience providing services to persons with criminal records.
· Lived experience with the criminal justice system.
Certifications or Licenses:
· Required: NONE.
· Preferred: NONE.
Skills/Abilities:
Strong oral and written communication skills.
· Proficient with software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel. Email, Internet, etc.).
· Working knowledge of standard office machines and equipment.
· Ability to manage or perform multiple tasks simultaneously with competing deadlines.
· Experience speaking to groups or conducting workshops.
· Working knowledge of community resources and government agencies.
