We seek an individual experienced in technical product management to drive customer-facing initiatives of our AppleCare Product Operations team. You'll need to be organized and proactive to the challenges of a fast paced environment with ability to handle ambiguity and build structure. You will work on developing and defining new service offerings, and ways to bring them to market in a way that is distinctly Apple. You will be responsible for leading the planning, development, implementation and performance measurement of your programs. You will closely work with engineers, data scientists, financial analysts to find opportunities, develop them into cases, and pitch them to executives. Once approved, you will work with project managers, designers and software architects to bring those concepts to market. Description

You will focus on innovating the AppleCare product line through the development of new features and the creation of outstanding customer experiences. In partnership with experts from functional areas across Apple, your key responsibilities are to deliver: - Market/Competitive intelligence - Consumer insights & trends - Product concept/new feature ideation, business case, and strategic alignment - Customer experience and system requirements - Product performance monitoring & cost modeling - Pricing strategy - Go-to-market execution - NPI (Hardware) impact assessment and change management This job is very cross-functional and requires strong and effective communication to lead, empower and influence large teams with competing priorities.

Minimum Qualifications

5-7 years work experience as a technical product manager

Hands-on product management experience during all phases of the development cycle

Excellent social and oral/written communication skills, with experience presenting to multiple teams and executive level partners

BS or MS Engineering/Computer Science degree with equivalent work experience

Passionate about providing an outstanding customer experience

Experience in the consumer electronic insurance industry a plus

Intellectual curiosity combined with a strong analytical ability and financial competence

Understanding of consumer service/insurance products, POS - as well as customer-facing solutions, strong plus

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 and $293,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
