Sr. Product Manager, Pricing Capability, Global Logistics Pricing Strategy
Amazon, Bellevue, Washington, us, 98009
Description
Are you interested in developing large-scale strategic initiatives in the dynamic Global Logistics industry? Amazon Global Logistics is on a mission to eliminate borders between Selling Partners and buying customers and create new logistics benchmarks.
The Global Logistics Revenue Management team empowers our global business to find strategic harmony between growth and profit tradeoffs, while seeking long-term customer value and financial health. We build tools and processes to help identify and drive synergy among supply, demand, operational, and economic planning.
We are seeking a Sr. Product Manger to establish and lead our Market Intelligence engine. You will develop industry benchmarking, price positioning, and metric design/enhancement. You will work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams and interact directly with Customers to further enhance/validate the quantitative metrics you design. Additionally, this role will require close collaboration with Finance and other global teams to understand cost-drivers and corresponding adjustments to enhance customer experience and improve profitability. You will build the single source of truth for market intelligence leading to pricing or rate structure strategies.
The right candidate is an independent self-starter who takes strong ownership, thrives in the face of ambiguity, dives into data, synthesizes anecdotes into data-driven arguments, and rolls up your sleeves to get the job done in a fast-paced environment. You must have strong stakeholder management skills, earn trust, and influence stakeholders/leadership to effectively address industry-level problems. This means you should be comfortable using data to advocate your point of view and do not shy away from vocally challenging assumptions as needed. Ownership, thoughtful articulation, stakeholder influence, ability to deal with ambiguity, and analytical talent are essential to success in this role.
