Position Overview The Riverside Research Software Applications Team (SWAT) is seeking a full-time TS/SCI cleared senior software engineer for developing, integrating, and deploying software applications. Experience with Scrum (or similar agile software development methodologies), as well as familiarity with continuous integration/continuous testing/continuous delivery processes and tools, is essential. Candidates must be technically proficient and have real-word experience devising practical and sustainable solutions. Responsibilities Design, build, containerize, and test software applications Design and define API specifications for high performance, scalability, and availability Code, debug, test and support utilities, tools, and frameworks to support the application development process Document test cases, expected test results, test data requirements, and collaborate with testing teams and business partners to resolve testing problems Configure build pipelines, perform static and dynamic security analysis, and store build artifacts including container images and deployment scripts in artifact repositories Perform continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) Identify and research issues with applications and recommend/implement solutions Perform research on the state-of-the-art and applicability of software solutions Other duties as assigned as pertains to software development Qualifications Minimum Top secret/SCI clearance Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or other major field of study (equivalent relevant experience considered in lieu of degree) 5 or more years of experience in developing full-stack applications 5 or more years of experience in at least one major programming language (i.e., Java, Python, C#/C++, JavaScript) Experience with designing, creating, and consuming REST APIs and do
