A Snapshot of Your Day
The Surge Arresters & Insulators business unit configures, warehouses, and sells medium and high-voltage products for use by electric utilities and industrial customers. The technical marketing team is responsible for maintaining existing and developing new relationships with distributors, EPCs, OEMs, and utilities, with the objective of acquiring orders for the factory.
The Contract Administrator works with the marketing, engineering, production, and warehouse teams and with the sole responsibility of providing excellent order service and communications.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Leads the order entry process from receipt to shipment
Ensures all required documentation vital for completing the order is in place (PO, contract documents, bonds/guarantees, etc)
Crafts and maintains online files for POs, sales orders folders and other pertinent documents to support record-keeping
Interacts with other internal departments to ensure contractual obligations are met completely and on time
Documentation/control of Change Order process & revised Order Acknowledgment and periodic report creation / order summary information (daily, monthly, as needed)
Works directly with customers and the sales channels to fulfill requirements and provide status updates
What You Bring
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline preferred; equivalent education and experience may be acceptable. Relevant certifications may be required in some areas.
3-5 years of experience in roles such as order entry, customer service, or contract management preferred.
Must be detail-oriented, customer-focused, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work independently and oversee the timely completion of open items.
Familiarity with SAP is preferred, along with a proven track record in similar roles demonstrating knowledge of business practices and procedures.
