Position SummaryMAG Aerospace is hiring for a Senior Lead Training Specialist who serves as the technical adviser/instructor/team leader applying an intensive practical knowledge of PEO C3T training devices, electronics, and networks to those who will be using and supporting such items.

This position leads the development of training materials and conducts classes in proper operation and maintenance procedures to PEO C3T programs and various agencies within the Department of Defense.

The Senior Lead Training Specialist will provide resident and on-site technical assistance and training (both platform and hands-on) in the operation and maintenance of assigned systems and associate items to gaining audits/installations in/from CONUS and OCONUS locations.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDuties include, but not limited to:

Instructs on the theory of operation along with Operation of the complete system to include electronics, computer programming, and analysis of malfunction reports, system trouble shooting, and repair up to depot level.

Prepares new training materials to include lesson plans, POIs, student guides/workbooks, training aids, etc.

Establishes early and continuous working relationships with project managers, contractors, subcontractors, and appropriate development and production activities during the development of training materials.

Maintains the training materials in a current, up-to-date condition, working closely with maintenance and engineering.

Provides responses and answers to questions/problems from the field.

Interpret and articulate signal analysis, schematic diagram analysis, block diagrams, and wiring diagrams.

Inform students of the complete objective purpose of the lesson while maintaining motivation and interest throughout the entire classroom instruction.

Conduct training courses with a professional understanding of the principals of learning and teaching methods and be able to demonstrate their ability to apply principles and methods.

Identifies the best approach training requirements, to include, but not limited to, hardware, software, simulations, course assessment and refreshment, assessment centers, oral examination, interviews, computer assisted and adaptive testing, behavior based assessment and performance, team and unit assessment and measurement.

RequirementsMinimum Requirements

Experience / Skills:

Minimum of fifteen (15) relevant years of experience with tactical radio communications systems to include the following; SINCGARS Radio Sets, High Frequency (HF) Radios Sets, Legacy SATCOM Radios, software defined radios, and Tactical Networking Radios

Minimum of ten (10) years of training experience in planning, coordinating, and overseeing New Equipment Training and IKPT

Expert in training students in tasks required to test-operate, align, repair, service, and fault-isolate / troubleshoot the particular system to the lowest-replaceable units.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in one of the following: Engineering, Communications, or related field.

Four (4) additional years of direct relevant technical experience may be substituted for education

Other Qualifications:

U.S. citizenship is required.

DoD secret clearance is required.

Salary at MAG Aerospace is determined by various factors including but not limited to location, the particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $80500 to $149500 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
