We are currently seeking motivated candidates for an Assistant Lending Operations Manager, at our Home Office in Auburn Hills, MI.
Position Purpose:
Responsible in assisting in the day-to-day operation of Genisys Credit Union External Lending Department. This position oversees and assists the Title Support Team with lien release, loan payoffs, as well as ensuring that relevant state and federal lending laws are followed. Additionally, analyzes loan authorities and approvals/denials of consumer loans. Responsible for assisting with overseeing the credit union’s external lending relationships. Responsible for establishing new programs/relationships to grow that credit union’s lending portfolio. Works closely with the External Lending Services Manager and the Loan Manager on external and consumer lending related policies, products, procedures and processes.
Job Duties (include, but not limited to):
Assist with overseeing the underwriting of Genisys direct and indirect loans.
Oversee and assist the Title Support team to ensure accurate lien placement on non-real estate collateral loans.
Review and recommend changes to lending policies and procedures.
Address lending questions and concerns from both staff and members.
Required Experience/Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related area preferred
Minimum 3 years related experience in Real Estate Lending
Administrative and supervisory experience
Knowledge of government regulations and legal requirements involving lending and related functions
Skills/Abilities:
Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
Well organized and attentive to detail
Solid communication abilities.
Able to meet deadlines.
Able to use PC and basic business equipment.
