About The Role:

The Wholesale Brand Marketing Specialist supports the way our brand shows up in all 3rd party channels - in-store, supported ads and online. This role will work hand in hand with sales coordinators to ensure that brand standards are clearly articulated, branded materials are available, and we achieve consistency in execution from owned to 3rd party channels. This role is responsible for the coordination and execution of marketing materials and messages; providing a clear hand-off to sales teams to deploy assets. This role will align with marketing teams at our KOA accounts to deliver assets that are digitally focused and with the KOA sales team to implement and execute.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Brand Asset Creation

Develop best in class tools that elevate OluKai's positioning within wholesale and allow the brand to stand above the pack.Create digital first co-op tools through social sharing tool and DAM for easy access by accounts.Create suite of assets for offline use to ensure premium, branded execution of all materials, brand and product education.Coordinate with sales and reps to manage co-op budgets, providing strategy and creative support.Provide assets to accounts through DAM and RepSpark.A/B test innovative solutions that help our partners increase traffic and drive sales of OluKai.Manage creation of the lineguide 2- times per year.Execute premium items to be used across the brand.Support execution of tradeshows and sales meetings.

Elevate the In-Store Experience (Core)

Innovate within the store environment to ensure we're on top of trends, technology and providing the best overall experience.Test and learn to improve sales with new tools in the in-store environment.Execute custom-build outs to drive the business.Ensure brand consistency across owned and 3rd party channels.Work with Sales force to execute in-person events at accounts - providing toolkits for mass adoption and one-off solutions.Attend wholesale events in-stores.Monthly meetings with Global rep team to ensure execution and strategic use of co-op funds.Quarterly rep ride-alongs to see in store environments.

Koa Marketing

Provide assets for our major accounts to ensure we're maximizing sales opportunities.Assist in the execution of in-store and digital elements.Assist in the execution of in-store events.

OluKai Owned Retail

Assist in the execution of in-store events.Assist in the execution of monthly table sets by providing assets, direction, and delivering materials to print.Work with retail team to ensure they have the marketing tools they need.

Brand Training

Training is a key element of the OluKai brand; develop innovative experiences and training methods that help the retail associates articulate why OluKai is better.Own online training platform (miagi).Develop tools for reps to use for in person trainings.

Support sales with requests (fixtures, co-op, creative) as needed to ensure brand consistency and integrity.Other responsibilities as assigned.Requirements:

3-4 years of retail marketing experience; footwear or lifestyle brand a plusBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or other related field requiredExperience working with outside sales reps strongly preferredStrong analytical skills and structured problem solving skillsExceptional interpersonal and communicationAsana or similar project management software experience a plusHighly organized, highly effective, highly connected to brand and people25% travel - quarterly market visits and in-person event attendance, local/regional/ national tradeshowLocation & Office Structure: This is an in-office hybrid position, mandatory 4 days per week in office at our HQ Irvine, CA location with the option to work from home 1 day per week. Subject to change without notice as per company guidelines.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $66,560 to $79,000 annually; salary is based on the experience that you bring to the position.
