Job Description

Provides necessary maintenance in performing general carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting. Successful applicant operates and uses various hand and power tools and equipment necessary to complete assignments. Maintains tools and equipment in good condition. Cleans work areas, picks up materials and supplies from warehouse or storeroom. Operates a motor vehicle in the performance of job duties. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Valid driver's license to operate a motor vehicle.

Salary Range$25,600 - 41,000- Salary is commensurate with experience and internal equity

Required Qualifications

Education

Building maintenance training beyond high school typically obtained in a technical or vocational school.Experience

Works within the Housing and Residence Life maintenance shop.Knowledge of general carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and/or drywall and painting.Ability to operate various hand and power tools and equipment.
