About The Role:
The Sr. Employee Benefits Marketing Manager will lead our Employee Benefits Marketing Team within the Marketing, Brand and Communications (MBC) organization at Gen. This role is pivotal in driving strategic B2B marketing initiatives to grow our global benefits presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B marketing, Insurance/Benefits or Broker management. They must be able to excel in a fast-paced work environment while juggling both short- and long-term priorities along with daily demands.
This is role is based at our U.S. headquarters in Tempe, AZ. The person in this role is required to be in the office multiple days a week.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute marketing strategies aligned with business objectives to promote employee benefits products and services.
Team Management:
Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Campaign Management:
Oversee the creation and implementation of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, demand gen, events, etc.) to generate leads and drive sales.
Sales Collaboration:
Work closely with the Employee Benefit sales team to align marketing efforts with sales objectives, ensuring a unified approach towards achieving revenue targets.
Market Analysis:
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the employee benefits industry as we look to further penetrate the global benefits sector.
ROI Analysis:
Track and analyze campaign performance metrics to optimize marketing strategies and maximize return on investment.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Product and Finance to ensure alignment and execution of marketing initiatives.
Budget Management:
Manage the marketing budget effectively, allocating resources based on strategic priorities and ROI expectations.
Brand Management:
Maintain Norton LifeLock Benefit Solutions brand integrity and consistency across all marketing initiatives and communications.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Proven experience managing a marketing team and supporting Sales by driving strategic initiatives that support revenue growth.
Strong analytical skills and experience with marketing analytics tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Salesforce, HubSpot).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability influence and collaborate across functions with internal and external Leadership.
Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable marketing plans.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
12+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on benefits, financial services, or insurance industries.
Excellent communication and copywriting skills.
Experience with Salesforce and HubSpot is required.
Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus.
