Position Summary:
To assist the Controller in the auditing of financial information, daily activity reporting and the implementation of proper internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the financial statements. Assist in managing, supporting, and developing accounting staff.Work effectively with operational staff to revolve finance related issues.
Essential Functions:
Prepare accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with our established schedule and with input from the rest of the accounting departmentConduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenanceAnalyze financial statements for discrepancies and other issuesReview all inter-company transactions and generate invoices as necessaryReconcile balance sheet accountsAssist with the annual external financial statement auditConduct regular ledger maintenanceBasic treasury functionsProduce and process monthly rental statementsCoordinate with the accounts payable team to ensure timely payment to vendorsCreate and send out monthly billingsEducation, Experience, and Skills Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Required2+ years' experience in general accountingExperience with general ledger systemsAdvanced knowledge of ExcelStrong problem solving and analytical skillsAbility to function well in a team-oriented environmentProfessional communication skills-verbal and writtenStein Eriksen Lodge, Park City's only Forbes Five-Star Hotel and Spa, offers:
