At Westinghouse, we are hiring a Senior Program Manager for our Replacement Steam Generator (RSG) Program. You will manage a complex program worth approximately $300M with a long (5-6 year) program lifecycle that will span multiple functions, organizations, geographic regions and cultures. You will oversee and hold accountable direct reporting or matrixed project managers and team members to deliver program goals, while partnering with business development leaders to set strategy and to capture growth opportunities that promote strategic and business goals.
Your Day to Day:
You will direct the authoring of project plans including developing scope, schedule, and cost baselines.Manage overall project performance to meet quality, schedule and financial goals as set forth by Westinghouse, customer and regulatory requirements.Maintain agreement of program scope with strategic goals and make recommendations to modify the program to enhance effectiveness toward the business result or strategic intent.Oversee closure of component projects within the program. Formally close program when all component projects are completed. Perform final program quality and financial assessment and report out to Senior Management.Communicate program interdependencies and requirements, find and address risks, and resolve conflicts and issues.You will lead a project team focused on meeting the contractual terms of the RSG program.Who You Are:
Bachelor's degree required with the discipline of Project Management or Engineering. 10 years of experience as project manager in the nuclear industry leading and directing the execution of high complexity projects to successful completion.Mastery of Project Management Institute's Project Management methodology. You will have your PMP or be willing to obtain it.You have in-depth knowledge of executing major projects for nuclear plants, and/or large-scale manufacturing of components used in nuclear plants.Why Westinghouse?
