We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Manager to join our growing team in Chantilly, VA (Hybrid - in office every Thurs, otherwise remote).
Must Haves:
functional test automation management experience - 8-12 years of experience in automation testing, with a focus on UiPath (primary) OR UFT - UI PATH may be better (but scarcer) - (~75% UI Path. 25% UFT) > ok with a strong manager who has exp with other tooling but prefer UiPathCommunicate progress and issues effectively to stakeholders.Execute automated test scripts, analyze results, and report defects
Provide expertise in the planning, constructing and execution of automated test scripts. Apply functional knowledge including testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology to meet the team's overall test objectives. Ensure all testing results are easily accessible and understandable. Track defects to closure and keep defect repository up to date. These individuals are expected to do automation work.
We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer with extensive experience in UiPath and UFT to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining automation scripts and frameworks to ensure high-quality software delivery. The role involves working closely with various stakeholders to understand automation requirements, design automation solutions, and improve existing processes.
Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using UiPath and UFT.Implement automation frameworks to support automated testing efforts.Ensure automation solutions are scalable and reusable across different projects.Work with QA analysts, developers, and business analysts to identify automation needs.Participate in requirement gathering and design sessions to provide input on automation feasibility.Communicate progress and issues effectively to stakeholders.Execute automated test scripts, analyze results, and report defects.Perform regression testing and validate application functionality. Ensure automated tests are integrated into CI/CD pipelines. Identify opportunities for improving automation processes and tools. Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in automation testing. Provide training and support to team members on automation tools and processes.Experience & Skill sets:
8-12 years of experience in automation testing, with a focus on UiPath and UFT.Proven experience in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.Experience in working with APIs and web services for test automation.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Proficient in UiPath with hands-on experience in developing and maintaining RPA solutions.Strong experience with UFT, including designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts.Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps.Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.BenefitsWhy QualiTest?
