Job description
The
Corporate Human Resources Manager
serves as an HR business partner to a selection of our Corporate functional teams, driving the people and organization agenda with identified business leaders. This role will deliver on core HR processes within client groups (e.g., annual performance and salary planning), supporting managers and team members to deliver timely and effective outcomes.
The ideal candidates will excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to think critically and build on past experiences. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Act as a trusted business partner with clients, providing coaching, counsel and perspective on business and people mattersDeliver on talent acquisition plans, ensuring roles are filled with top talent within the agreed upon timeframesEnsure newly hired employees have a great onboarding experience through effective partnership and planning with hiring managersIdentify and address talent & learning needs through leadership of talent review discussions, follow-through on action plans and completion of individual development plansDeliver on core HR processes within client groups (e.g., annual salary planning), supporting managers and team members to deliver timely and effective outcomesGuide development and delivery of approaches to improve culture based on employee engagement survey dataAssist leaders and Corporate HR Director in designing organization structure and/or specific rolesMake recommendations to leaders around salary offers, compensation adjustments, promotions, and other compensation mattersCommunicate with, and advise leaders and employees on company policies, practices, and eventsLead investigations within identified client groups in accordance with company policies and practicesLead and participate in HR projects as needed, including cross functional and business initiativesQualifications
Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field requiredHR Professional certification(s) strongly preferred7+ years of progressive HR experience in a fast-paced environmentManufacturing and/or building product industry experience is preferred, but not requiredDemonstrated experience in coaching, employee relations, change management, and performance managementWorking knowledge of applicable federal and state employment laws requiredLEADERSHIP COMPETENCIES:Cornerstone Building Brands (CBB) Values and Behaviors & Mindsets
