Role Overview - YouTube Creative Content Manager
This position will be responsible for strategizing, conceptualizing, producing, and delivering engaging high-quality content for YouTube that will drive views, view-time & related sales. It will be responsible for overseeing a team to produce new video content, edit existing content, & re-purpose content to help reach the position's goals. This position will manage a video editing position, a creative writing / SEO optimization position, and partner with others in the organization including the video content team and the OTT team. It will require a responsive and professional interfacing with internal and external teams.
This position will be a central point of contact for the YouTube content creation & distribution process responsible for ensuring the overall YouTube strategy is successfully created and implemented.Align with the Company's brand vision and Merchandising's product vision / product schedule.Create a content vision, video content plan, video content timeline, and coordinate the related organizational components for the successful achievement of goals.Collaborate with a cross-functional team of programming, content, analytical, social-media, and technical leaders within the organization to ensure the YouTube content is aligned with the broader organization.Leverage current and emerging video related technology such as AI video creation.Align VOD with live stream content to drive engagement for both sets of videos.Analize VOD performance to best identify content to be pushed to other platforms.Continuously stay current with YouTube, trends, best practices, and system optimizations.Monitor and report on overall YouTube content performance.Analyze YouTube performance to ensure strategic goals are being achieved.Requirements and qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in the area of Creative, Marketing, social media, or a related fieldAt least seven years of proven experience with social media, Video, and Marketing in relevant industries.At least five years of experience with managing teams.Experience in creating YouTube campaigns - from developing the vision, overseeing the production, and reporting on results - hitting sales targets while staying within budget and time constraints.Experience working with YouTube's Content management System, best practices, and related algorithms.Experience of successfully working across teams in a dynamic and demanding work environmentStrong communications skills, including reading and writing in English.Strong people & project management skills - setting and managing to tight timelines in a fast-paced work environment.Strong knowledge and experience working with technical systems - an innovative and logical thinkerWell organized and highly structured individual, with ability to give attention to detailExcellent analytical skills, with the ability to apply data in providing solutions and driving to business goals
Physical RequirementsAscending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and ramps.Moving around to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.Remaining in a stationary position, standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.Frequently lift 20-50lbs and occasionally lift 50 to 70 pounds.Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.About Shop LCWe are an electronic retailer of jewelry and lifestyle products headquartered in Austin, Texas with a team of approximately 450 people.
