Summary:
Our direct client is seeking an HR Generalist to join their growing Human Resources team. As an HR Generalist, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our HR department.
The ideal candidate has experience working in a fast-paced startup-like environment wearing multiple hats. This is an in-person role based in San Francisco, CA or Palo Alto, CA
Responsibilities:
Managing employee onboarding and offboarding processesAdministering compensation and benefits programsAssisting in the development and implementation of HR policies and proceduresCoordinating employee training and development programsManaging employee relations and providing guidance to management on HR best practicesMaintaining compliance with federal and state employment lawsSupporting recruitment efforts, including conducting interviews for various positionsManaging the performance review processMaintaining accurate employee records and HR databasesActing as a liaison between hiring managers and employees to address concerns, needs, and feedbackManaging applicant tracking systems (preferably Greenhouse) for designated hiring groups
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field4+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar roleStrong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Experience with applicant tracking systems (preferably Greenhouse)Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skillsProficient with HRIS and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong organizational and multitasking abilitiesSHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred but not required
Additional Requirements:
Available to occasionally work evenings and weekends, as the schedule varies depending on site operational needs; flexibility is required
