As the Director of R&D, you will lead culinary innovation and product development, enhancing current offerings and driving new concepts. Your strategic vision will identify long-term opportunities aligned with company goals. You will collaborate with Sales, Quality, and Procurement to create value-added solutions and support sales with technical expertise. Additionally, you'll mentor the culinary team, source quality ingredients, and present market-driven strategies to leadership.
Qualifications:
10+ years of R&D experience, with a minimum of 5 years in food and beverage product development; sauces, peppers, or tomato-based products.Proven experience leading and developing technical teams.Strong understanding of food safety and quality standards.Ability to identify market opportunities and align them with strategic goals.Bachelor's degree in food science, food technology, or a related field; master's a plus.
