Required Technical Skills/Experience:

The Linux Systems Administrator should have experience managing HPC or large scale accelerated computing environments. Experience with Nvidia DGX, HGX and OVX platforms are required. The Nvidia's AI in the Data Center certification is also required. Prior DoD experience is a plus.

Required Education : A bachelor's degree as a minimum or proven equivalent experience is required. The Linux Systems Administrator should have VMware VCP DCV 7.x/8.x experience or equivalent experience. RHCSA, RHCE or similar Linux certifications are needed for this role.

ResponsibilitiesMaintain the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Experience Center Datacenter.Install, configure and manage solutions in our on-premises vSphere, Kubernetes and OpenShift lab environment and in AWS.Troubleshoot system technical issues and coordinate with OEM support teams for problem resolution.Rack, stack and cable new equipment.Maintain support requests from internal engineers regarding all account management and system configuration issues.Gain high-level technical certifications when required.Collaborate with the Strategic Technologies Group on implementing new features, technologies and equipment.Maintain subject matter expertise in datacenter architecture, Linux, vSphere and Kubernetes.Provide tours of the datacenter upon request.Requirements

Strong Technical understanding in the following:

Linux System Administration

Must have 3 -5 years' experience designing, installing and administrating RHEL and Ubuntu systems.Must have excellent hands-on CLI expertise.RHCSA, RHCE or a similar certification is required.

vSphere System Administration

Must have 3 -5 years' experience designing, installing and administrating vSphere clusters.Recent VCP Datacenter certification is required.VCAP Datacenter certification is desired.

Kubernetes and OpenShift System Administration

Must have 3 -5 years' experience designing, installing and administrating either Kubernetes or OpenShift clusters.Certifications in either Kubernetes or OpenShift is desired.

Network Administration

Must have 3 - 5 years' experience configuring and managing either Dell or Cisco switches.CCNA certification is desired.Experience managing Cisco Secure Firewall.Must have a sound understanding of datacenter networks including VPNs, VLANs, layer-3 switching and routing protocols.

Storage Administration

Must have experiencing installing and administrating enterprise storage systems.Dell PowerScale, PowerStore and PowerFlex experience is desired.Must have a sound understanding of network storage protocols including NFS, SMB and NVMe/TCP.Experience with Weka, VAST and DDN is desired.

Data Protection

Must have experience with an enterprise data protection system.Experience with Dell Data Domain and PowerProtect Data Manager is desired.

Software Development

Must have 3 - 5 years' experience developing both shell and Python scripts.

Must have a working knowledge of Windows Server and have the ability to manage and configure an Active Directory domain.Strong documentation and technical writing skills.Ability to communicate well publicly and provide ideas, concepts and accurate information to in a pro-active, clear and concise way.Demonstrated experience working independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
