This position is based in Houston with a hybrid work schedule, mostly onsite in the corporate office.

The Word Processing & Graphics Specialist leads the process of creating, revising and proofing documents using Microsoft Office 365 productivity tools including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and the Adobe suite of graphic design software. You will create, edit and produce complex proposals, reports and collateral material. You will work directly with top level management on various types of projects, so having the ability to adapt to multiple personalities is a must. You will have advanced Microsoft Word and PowerPoint skills as well as skills and knowledge within the Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop software packages. Must be quick on your feet and more importantly, quick with your thoughts. Specifically, you will:Format proposals and collateral material for new client pursuits in the Audit, Tax, and Management Advisory/Consulting departments.Ensure consistency and accuracy in document layout, style, and formatting.Use advanced features of Microsoft Office 365 word processing and other productivity tools to automate tasks and improve efficiency.Create and edit graphics, charts, and diagrams to enhance the presentation of proposals, collateral material, and client reports.Use graphics design software such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop, to produce high-quality visuals.Collaborate with top-level managers and other team members from the Marketing and Business Development, Audit, Tax, and Management/Advisory departments to integrate graphics into documents and presentations.Review and proofread documents for errors and inconsistencies, including ensuring proposal outline, format, and content comply with solicitation requirements.Conduct final review/checks to ensure all documents are print-ready and visually appealing.Oversee administrative, logistical, and publishing aspects of proposals, collateral materials, and client reports, including draft, final production, printing, and binding.Establish and maintain an efficient filing system containing files of the latest revision of all documents and a database of all retained documents to ensure configuration control and quick retrieval of documents.Provide technical support and training to team members on advanced word processing and graphic design tools, including Microsoft Office 365 (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) and Adobe Acrobat related questions/inquiries.As part of our compliance program, all team members are required to follow industry leading data and system security practices.What you will need

Bachelor's degree.Minimum of 5+ years of experience organizing large time-critical integration and production activities (e.g., proposals a plus; experience in professional services firm preferred).Advanced expertise and proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).Advanced expertise and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: (i.e., Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills.Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, often under tight deadlines and with a sense of urgency.Certification in required software applications a plus.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.What we prefer

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Graphics Design, or related field.Working knowledge and use of Shipley Proposal Guide 4th Edition.Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint work collaboration software.Willingness to work in a hybrid office environment.What we offer
