Ardmore Home Design (AHD), founded in 2008, is a privately-owned, fast-paced, entrepreneurial company where we value people with strong skills to make our products and processes better every day. We design, sell and distribute luxury home décor to interior designers as well as boutique/luxury retailers globally. The AHD family of wholesale brands includes Made Goods (flagship furniture made from unique materials); Pigeon & Poodle (home and bath accessories); Blue Pheasant (handcrafted tabletop products) and Thucassi (artisanal candles and fragrances).

We are looking for a Developer to create applications to streamline and automate functions and processes throughout the organization that allow for improved response times and assist in improved decision making. This is a hands on role that works closely with Project Management and Architectural functional areas to deliver prioritized enhancements and new development to the organization.

Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a friendly, team-oriented approach.

Requirements

• A 4+ year degree, ideally in computer science/MIS, or related qualifications or experience.

• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with business stakeholders (from day-to-day users to senior management)

• Solid project planning and coordination experience

• Strong attention to detail

• An analytical mind with excellent problem solving skills, with an ability to think outside the box when necessary.

• 2+ Years developing Microsoft .NET using Visual Studio. C#, Web Forms, HTML, CSS Stylesheets, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, XML and Web Services.

• 2+ Years database design, query normalization/optimization, referential integrity and logical database architecture.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Fantastic time management skills with the ability to multi-task

Starting base salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
