Job Description
Accucare Home Medical is seeking a full time
Purchasing / Warehouse Manager . They would be responsible for carrying out all purchasing decisions necessary for the company to consistently operate with all needed products, equipment, and supplies. In addition, they would oversee all warehouses and inventory.
The Purchasing / Warehouse Manager
is responsible for carrying out all purchasing decisions necessary for the company to consistently operate with all needed products, equipment, and supplies. This position reports to the General Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Include the following, other duties may be assigned:Manage purchasing decisions regarding all products, equipment, and supplies needed by the company.Negotiate with suppliers; analyze technical data in suppliers' proposals.Work closely with Warehouse staff to ensure appropriate inventory levels in stock.Control purchase order numbers, maintain documentation of all purchase orders, and compare items received against existing purchase orders to confirm receipt of all necessary items.Oversee record keeping so that all information is accurate and complete and manage the follow of up-to-date information between purchasing and other parts of the company such as accounting and customer service.Generate and analyze financial reports on purchasing and provide these reports to the General Manager.Develop, review, and suggest changes to purchasing department policies and procedures as needed.Ensure ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations, that the department meets or exceeds accreditation standards, and that best practices are implemented in all departmental activities.Competencies:

Ability to recognize and direct information to the appropriate internal department or external supplier.Computer and Analytical Skills: Is able to generate reports in Brightree, extract data from various sources, and use tools such as Excel to analyze data and make purchasing decisions.Job Qualifications
