Valiant Residential is looking for a hardworking, dynamic

Compliance Manager

to oversee all compliance aspects of the HUD and LURA portfolio. The ideal candidate would be a detail-oriented individual accustomed to working on a deadline driven schedule. This onsite position will work from our Dallas, Texas Headquarters. This person must have the ability to function autonomously while also working in conjunction with coworkers located throughout the country. Monitoring and implementing changes in HUD and LURA regulations and requirements Maintaining proper maintenance of tenant files and computer records to ensure accuracy according to HUD and LURA regulations. From the beginning you will prepare and submit the applicable management agent application documents and oversee the future communication with the operations team and HUD reporting. This role will be familiar with current U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development ever changing Federal Regulations as they relate to our clients particular HUD and LURA reporting needs as well as train onsite team members on rules and regulations.

What you will be responsible for:

Collects all documentation needed for HUD 2530 Management approval processManages 9832 Management Entity Profile and 9839b Project Owner's/Management Agent's CertificationAdministrator for setup and user maintenance of Secure SystemsSupervises and responds to all annual MOR and REAC reviewsAttends and coordinates annual MOR and REAC reviews upon requestActs as point of contact for all associates and external HUD officesSubmits HUD OCAF increase approvals working with contract administratorsFacilitates annual financial documents for client reportingMaster recordkeeper of HUD TrackerEnsures all properties understand HUD programsProvides guidance to on-site associates as it relates to HUD compliance and policiesParticipates in company-provided trainingRemain HUD compliant for all required certificationsWilling and ready to support various departments on projects as compliance calendar permitsMaintaining knowledge of all relevant HUD regulations and requirements, as well as changes to those regulations, and communicating these changes to property management staff.Working closely with property management staff to address any issues or concerns related to HUD compliance, and providing guidance and support as needed.Oversee with site team annual green program audits as part of HUD requirementConducting regular audits of tenant files to ensure they are in compliance with HUD regulations and guidelines.Requirements

3+ years of experience in HUD complianceExperience with LIHTCExperience with either PFC or HFC platformsPrevious experience with HUD's APPS systemExcellent attention to detailExtensive knowledge of HUD market rate and LURA complianceWilling and able to work inside Dallas headquarters Monday-FridayStrong Microsoft Office skillsConsistently ranked as a "Top Places to Work" by the Oklahoman, Houston Chronicle, and Dallas Morning News, Valiant Residential is proud to be a key player in the property management industry.
