JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
Responsible for supporting the Fund Development Department by maintaining the Raiser's Edge donor database, ensuring accurate and timely gift processing and acknowledgement, supporting development team events and campaigns, and providing administrative support as directed by the Director of Philanthropy.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Gift Processing, Reporting, and Database Management:Record Keeping and Data EntryHandles gift processing for Fundraising CRM, including processing donor data from source documents, updating and editing donor database files, and performing other information-handling functionsProduce and prepare timely and accurate donor acknowledgment letters, solicitation letters, and other sensitive correspondenceRoutinely review, update and maintain data records to ensure accuracy and data integrityBuilds complex queries as needed to prepare reports for appeals, donor recognition, mailings and all other development office functionsDevelop and perform daily, monthly, quarterly and annual audits, including the monthly reconciliation of revenueCampaign, Project, and Administrative Support:
Responds promptly to and resolve revenue-related customer service inquiries from external and internal customersDevelops the procedures and processes pledges/gifts for all campaigns (that is aligning with the accounting codes, appeal, year etc.)Leverage constituent data for the advancement of the organization's goals and exploring new opportunities for capturing information or more efficiently managing relationshipsUses Fundraising CRM to find best prospects and donor researchCreate and maintain fund development online donation and event pagesMeeting support - Prepares background information and does research for select donor meetings, assembles folders/materials for meetings, presentations and participation in events, and keeps materials up to date (pledge cards, signs, tablecloths, displays etc.)Manage the distribution & mailing of fund development materials including gift appeals, impact reports, invitations, and other mailings as requested by the Fund Development team.Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assignedDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE
Motivated by the Girl Scout missionAvailable to work weekday office hours and occasional evenings and weekends (flexibility of two days working remotely)Apply coursework or experience in customer service, database management, and administrative excellenceCritical degree of data entry accuracyHigh level of attention to detailAble to identify inefficient and ineffective processes and implement improvementsThe ability to work independently and as part of a team; well organized, focused and goal oriented, with a high level of initiative and energy, as well as problem solving skills.Self-motivated, strong interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlinesConfidence and proficiency using Microsoft Office products and experience using a Customer Relationship Management system such as Raiser's EdgeExcellent communication skills with the ability to communicate information verbally confidently and clearly, and in writing that are effective with a diverse range of audiences including board members, volunteers, staff, donors, executives, potential funding partners and all constituencies. It would be great if you speak Spanish as well.Council provided tools of the trade
