Location : Bellevue WA (Travel locally to other Hopelink Sites)
Work schedule : Full Time 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday onsite with core daytime business hours.

The career opportunity:
The IT Technician I provides support for Hopelink's computer systems. Installs and maintains computer operating systems, hardware, peripherals, and software; provides support for the pure cloud telephone system administration.
Provides entry level desktop support for end users of all technical levels using patience and excellent troubleshooting skills. Provides work-order support, traveling to various Hopelink sites to help end-users onsite, and supports remote users virtually.
The ideal candidate will have some end user application support experience with Microsoft Office 365, will bring a willingness to learn, a team-oriented attitude, professional communication skills and an ability to work patiently with users of all technical levels. The end users at Hopelink are a diverse group of nonprofit professionals who are passionate about our mission; our IT team serve our employees who in turn serve our community. Install, configure and troubleshoot desktop, laptop hardware, and peripherals. Test configurations to confirm system operations.Install, troubleshoot, and support operating systems, utilities, hardware, communications and software applications and tools.Document and respond to requests for service and reported problems.Provide technical support to agency staff in a courteous and professional manner; assist, educate and support the end user in terms understandable to users at all levels.Diagnose and resolve desktop computer problems, which include hardware, operating systems, software applications, printers and router/modem/VPN/Broadband firewall configurations.Detect potential service problems and provides solutions related to agency specific hardware and software programs. Resolves network, system, and applications issues when possible. Refer escalated issues.Regular work tasks involve moving items weighing up to 50 pounds, occasionally; Work tasks involve setting up sit/stand desks, installing computer equipment, and running cables in a cubicle or office environment.Must have driver's license and insured personal vehicle to drive to various Hopelink worksites during work hours (mileage reimbursed.)How you will be compensated:

Compensation:
