We have an opportunity for a
Sr. Lead Contracts Administrator, supporting our growing business in Goleta CA.
The position requires knowledge of both government and commercial contracting practices and will support the preparation of business proposals, negotiation, acceptance, and management of a complex portfolio of contracts (as Prime and Subcontractor) within the Aerospace industry. The Sr. Lead Contracts Administrator position requires critical thinking skills and the ability to find solutions to complex problems while navigating Federal acquisition regulations, international regulations and company policy.
ResponsibilitiesServe as the as contractual point of contact for all contractual matters within the assigned portfolio of programs and pursuits.Provide coordination with other departments in the preparation of responses to customer correspondence and other requestsMaintain close, professional relationships with internal and external customersAssist in the review of RFP requirements for contract risk and model contract review.Help review all assigned bids, proposals, and contracts, including changes, modifications and amendments prior to negotiation and executionProvide input to business area and corporate price reviews regarding ground rules and assumptions and advise on key terms and conditions.Lead negotiations with the customer's contractual representatives, provide information to senior staff in accordance with established guidelines regarding the status of negotiations.Responsible for posting and processing all contract documents, data, deliverables, funding, etc. and processing in the contracts management tool and CDRL databases.Administer the preparation and delivery of customer required data and reports in compliance with contractual requirements, monitoring the status of day-to-day deliverables and preparing all contractual documents to include DD250s, DD-1149sIdeal Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related disciplineMinimum of 10+ years related experienceExperience compiling, reviewing, editing, organizing, tracking/storing contract documents or similarExperience communicating with external customersExperience interfacing with all levels and disciplines within the organization including leadershipPrior experience in a deadline driven environment in order to meet scheduled deliverablesStrong experience with MS office suite and/or data management toolsExperience working with and interpreting large amounts of dataStrong organizational and prioritization skillsUS Citizenship required with the ability to obtain a security clearanceSome travel will be requiredDesired Skills
Previous Government and International Contracting Experience, preferably in the Defense/Aerospace industryWorking knowledge of export relations (ITAR / EAR) desirableWorking knowledge of ERP systems, CLM tools, government portals and websites

Pay Range
$135,000 - $175,000/yr.
How We Determine What We Pay (Compensation Philosophy)Redwire determines pay for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data, for our locations throughout the US. We will evaluate external equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index, in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company.For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. Salaries will be based on the applicant's level of experience, education, and specialized knowledge and skills. Additionally, we consider the external market rate, the amount we have budgeted internally, and internal equity within the company for the same position. An employee/candidate with a stronger skill set will be considered for higher pay.
