Job Summary

This position is responsible for all aspects of engineering design and development of Data Center water to air and water to water cooling equipment. As the leader of the standard equipment design engineering team, the Lead Engineer will be responsible to manage and execute our mechanical, electrical, and electronic design and development.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead and create conceptual and detailed design to meet Product Requirements within the established timeline to create best in class products.Utilize project management tools to ensure accurate estimates and work break down to drive to on-time delivery of complex electro-mechanical NPD projects and track to completion, meeting all specification and timing requirements.Lead a cross functional team to develop and documents system level requirements based on unit requirements and safety standards (UL/ETL, CE, ASHRE, etc.) to assure that the equipment is safe and reliable.Review engineer's work and advises on alternative designs for safety, cost, reliability, and quality improvements.Lead troubleshooting activities for new and existing products.Recruit and mentor engineering talent to build a high performing team.Position Qualifications:

Required:

Engineering degree from an accredited universityExperience managing complex HVAC OEM projects or similarKnowledge required to specify and validate components and assembliesCAD experience, preferred with SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD/DraftSightLeadership skills and experience and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively, work in teams as well as autonomouslyBias for action and ability to takes the initiative in a high growth environmentPreferred:

5+ years of work experience with NPD of industrial or commercial HVAC products or similar workExperience with various internal and external compliance standards (UL / ETL, CE, and other relevant standards)MS, MBA or similar advanced degree
