If you are an experienced and competent individual with in-depth knowledge of Logistics, Warehousing, Planning, Inventory management systems and procedures, then we're looking for you! In this role, your duties will include maintaining budgets, analyzing logistics flow, and material control.Our ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. To excel in this role, material managers need in-depth knowledge of supply chain and budgeting processes. Ultimately, you are tasked with ensuring all our departments have adequate access to the materials they need.Responsibilities:Oversight of site planning and logistics.Working with management to identify supply needs.Have strong knowledge of lean manufacturing to recommend solutions to existing processes to reduce waste and increase quantity.Recording and assessing all materials quality, movement, and expenditure.Managing the distribution of supplies in the organization.Monitoring inventory levels and access to the material.Supervises shipping of materials to ensure that there are no defective items in the materials.Work closely with other department leaders (Manufacturing, Finance, Strategic Purchasing, Quality, Sales and Marketing, Regulatory, Process Engineering) to communicate and coordinate cross-functional efforts and improvement activities.Overseeing and supporting subordinates and new employees.Designing and maintaining department budgets.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in supply chain management/logistics or relevant field.A minimum of 5 years' experience specializing in Logistics, Materials Management or Supply Chain Management.Experience in a supervisory position related to materials planning, production control, purchasing, forecasting and/or master scheduling.Strong negotiation skills.Skilled with the traditional as well as advanced methods used in inventory control.Advanced knowledge of forecasting and budgeting processes.Outstanding communication and leadership skills.Analytical mind with excellent problem-solving abilities.
