Position Summary
Portland Community College (PCC) is looking for a dynamic Outreach & Engagement Manager to join our Office of College Relations.
Reporting to the Community Relations Manager, this role is essential to coordinating community outreach efforts with stakeholders across the college. The Outreach & Engagement Manager will collaborate closely with internal departments and external partners to enhance collaboration and awareness of PCC's programs, including launching a Customer Relations Management software and ambassador program.
This position is ideal for candidates who are passionate about community engagement, possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and thrive in a program management role.
This position will likely be based at the Cascade Campus and rotate with the Opportunity Center at 42nd Avenue.

Candidate Profile
These qualifications, skills and abilities are critical for success in this position.Throughout the screening process, you will be evaluated based on the demonstration of these qualifications.Familiarity with using systems and databases to track activities, manage contacts, and analyze data, as well as the ability to learn and develop new systems and processes. Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software preferred.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse groups of people.Skilled at developing and maintaining collaborative relationships across diverse teams of internal and external stakeholders to promote collaboration and partnerships critical to an organization's mission.Demonstrated experience in project management and event coordination.Experience with outreach and community engagement activities, community resources, and networks.
Minimum Qualifications

Starting Salary ExpectationsMinimum $72,765.00 to range midpoint of $89,135.00 Placement will generally not exceed the mid-point, based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity.

After one year of management or confidential service, PCC also provides a 2% contribution to a 403(b) account for eligible management and confidential personnel. PCC offers a tax deferred annuity program and a deferred compensation program where employees may save additional pre-tax dollars for retirement.
Additionally, PCC provides a tuition waiver for you, your spouse/domestic partner, and dependent children under 24 years of age, as well as partial tuition reimbursement for full-time employees at other accredited institutions.

Working Conditions and Physical RequirementsThis job operates in a professional business office environment on a PCC campus, with frequent interruptions and irregularities in work schedule. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to maintain a stationary position for long periods of time (sitting or standing); communicate with employees, partners, and stakeholders; and operate a computer to develop work products, communicate, and carry out responsibilities. Occasionally the employee is required to travel to other campuses to attend meetings, access items, and utilize equipment, and, rarely, move or transport items up to 10 pounds. Ability to provide own transportation to and from campuses and/or offsite functions may be required.
