We are seeking a Product Manager who will have global responsibility for the growth of innovative products in the Foot & Ankle portfolios. In this critical position, you will have global upstream responsibility for product development and downstream responsibility in the U. S. Your primary focus will be on the successful global commercialization of products through short- and long-term strategic projects. In driving the growth of your portfolio, you will have great latitude to determine the direction and initiatives you choose to implement. Make your business case, and you will earn the enthusiastic support of our amazing leadership team of successful industry executives. Close collaboration with other talented individuals on our Marketing, Clinical, Sales and Research & Development teams is essential.

Your day-to-day activities in this exciting and ever-changing role will include but are not limited to: product development, product launch, sales training content creation, customer collateral, surgeon and customer education for products and procedures, sales support, key opinion leader development, product life cycle (PLM) management, and market data analysis. You should have a clear understanding of marketing principles, superior project management skills, and excellent communication skills.

This position has the flexibility to be up-leveled to a Senior Product Management level based on background and experience.

What You'll Do:

Develop and execute product positioning and branding strategy resulting in CONMED products becoming the standard of careInitiate and coordinate product launches, executing activities in collaboration with Clinical, Sales and Research & Development teamsWork with Sales, Marketing and financial team members to create and implement pricing/financial programs for new and existing productsMaintain and distribute competitive information to field sales and managementCreate promotional, educational, clinical, and other support programs and materials to grow existing and newly launched products. Evaluate the effectiveness of such programs and drive improvementsDevelop and update competitive intelligence and establish product positioning, sales force training and education that incorporates competitive intelligence. Partner with the sales teamDevelop close relationships with key opinion leaders for the benefit of CONMEDAlign and support cross functional teams including R&D, S&OP, Quality, Regulatory, Customer Experience, and Manufacturing to drive commercial success of the assigned portfolioResponsible for management of assigned expenses within budgetNormal office conditions with up to 60% travel (including international and some weekends).What You'll Bring:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required; MBA preferred5+ years related experience in successful marketing or sales roles in the medical device industry (minimum of 3 years marketing experience)Strong knowledge of orthopedics and foot and ankle surgery and anatomy preferredAbility to lead and contribute to interdisciplinary teams with demonstrated resultsProven ability to execute projects within timeline and budgetDemonstrated strong organizational and communication skillsDemonstrated ability to build relationships with sales teams and physiciansThorough knowledge of relevant anatomy, surgical procedures and clinical needsThorough knowledge of surgeon and sales education processMust have working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPointCONMED is driven to work together with our customers to make healthcare better. This role requires access to customer accounts as a function of the job. Therefore, meeting account requirements regarding vaccinations is required as an essential job function, including the COVID-19 vaccination.

Disclosure as required by state law, the annual salary range for this position is $100,000-$157,000. This is CONMED's good faith belief at the time of this posting.
