Job Scope

The Director of Marketing for Foot, Ankle & Biologics oversees strategic and tactical marketing initiatives within this business segment. This role encompasses product portfolio management, market strategy development, demand generation, and collaboration with various teams to meet short- and long-term commercial goals. Key responsibilities include crafting downstream marketing strategies to drive revenue growth, launching new products, and managing product lifecycle activities.

The Director will lead a team in executing marketing strategies that involve market analysis, brand positioning, and customer engagement. They will define the product vision, align it with corporate growth objectives, and develop comprehensive marketing plans. Financial forecasting, resource allocation, and budgeting for the product management group are also key duties.

This role requires a comprehensive understanding of marketing principles and strong leadership to drive successful outcomes in the Foot, Ankle & Biologics sector.

Responsibilities

Define product vision and strategy for business initiatives. Develop strategies to boost revenue and optimize product launches. Provide leadership and resources to the product management team. Engage with Key Opinion Leaders and build a surgeon network. Ensure product strategies align with market trends and customer needs. Guide Product Managers in strategic planning and launch processes. Conduct market analysis to inform product development. Develop marketing plans covering value propositions and pricing strategies. Oversee forecasting for the product portfolio and build strategies to meet expectations. Ensure compliance with relevant codes of conduct. Manage group resource allocation for various projects and events. Create and oversee budgets for product management and sales. Participate in industry events to maintain customer relationships and market awareness. Gather field feedback on products and ensure proper data management. Conduct field visits to stay connected with market dynamics. Recruit and develop a team of Product Managers. Qualifications

BA/BS in product management or related field; MBA preferred. 10+ years in product management/sales, with leadership experience. 3-5 years in medical device marketing, preferably orthopedics. Strong coaching, communication, and persuasion skills. Strategic thinker with analytical capabilities for financial analysis and budget management. Proven ability to engage with various stakeholders and lead teams effectively. Knowledge of global healthcare policies and compliance issues. Demonstrated experience with financial analysis, forecasting, and budget management
