We are looking for a Director of Enterprise Applications to join the CFO leadership team in our Teaneck New Jersey office. We are seeking a creative, agile, and hands-on Director of Enterprise Applications to build and lead our global enterprise applications function from the ground up, managing all non-sales enterprise applications and their integrations. The ideal candidate will drive efficiency across the business by thoroughly understanding our processes and identifying opportunities for automation. This role will architect our enterprise software strategy, implement key systems, and optimize business operations through strategic application of technology solutions.
A day in the life and how you'll make an impact:
Conduct comprehensive analyses of current business processes across all departments to identify inefficiencies and automation opportunitiesDevelop and execute a strategic plan for enterprise applications that focuses on increasing operational efficiency and reducing manual workloadDesign and implement automation solutions and enterprise software systems to streamline business processesCollaborate closely with all business units to understand their unique workflows and challengesEstablish metrics and KPIs to measure the impact of automation initiatives on business efficiencyCreate and manage a prioritized roadmap of automation projects based on potential business impact and feasibilityOversee the selection, implementation, and integration of enterprise applications that support efficiency goalsDevelop and maintain IT budgets related to enterprise applications and automation projectsEstablish best practices for process optimization and change management to ensure successful adoption of new systems and workflowsBuild relationships with key stakeholders to align automation efforts with business objectivesStay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in process automation and enterprise applicationsRequirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred7+ years of experience in IT roles, with a strong focus on process improvement and enterprise applicationsProven track record of successfully implementing automation solutions and optimizing business processesDeep knowledge of ERP, SCM, HCM, and other enterprise software systems, with a focus on their automation capabilitiesExtensive experience in business process analysis, mapping, and re-engineeringStrong background in project management and change managementExcellent analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirementsProficiency in data analysis and visualization to support decision-making and demonstrate ROIExperience with workflow automation tools, RPA (Robotic Process Automation), and/or low-code platformsStrong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersKey Attributes:
